Original concept and excellent atmoshere

I am a rabid jazz lover and the piece that you used really fit the animation. I found the atmosphere that was conveyed by the art style and the music was very effective. This submission was very music video-ish to me and it was definitely successful with that because of the calmness and overall tone of the art. I felt really drawn in and the way the flash was animated only further drew my imagination. Nice job guys.

Great job but I've got some critiscism...

I really enjoyed this piece, though not as much as your last work, which was a perfect score from me. I don't feel like critiquing you on your artwork or animation, they're not perfect but definitely good. Your art is probably some of the best around.

Now, on to why this wasn't a 10 for me. I think that your storyline wasn't SUPPOSED to be amazing so I don't know how much this applies. However, you quickly transitioned through funny scenes and the dramatic ones. While the scenes are good individually, I think that the way you transitioned between them was a bit unsmooth. For example, the suicide scene starts very dramatic with a bold statement that got a "wow" from me. However, as he started adding more and more stuff, I just lost the wow and I couldn't get past that anymore. I think that you should refrain from too quickly moving through drama and comedy and try and stick to one genre, comedy or drama.

You're really good at the drama and I'd like to see that in full effect, not watered down by the comedy scenes, which I felt weren't too appropriate or substantial. Looking forward to your next movie.

The moving maze is awesome. It's concept is really cool and the game seems to be great. I have no skill in it though.

This piece was really well done. The song had a lot of depth to it, which I enjoyed a lot. The sax was really nice in this piece, contrasted well with the bass and strings. I enjoyed this.

Very well done

I'm a huge fan of your Sentimental Mood song, it's the song that puts me to sleep every night and this one is definitely well done too. I was craving some jazz and I was coming here to play Sentimental Mood and I'm like, "Well, maybe I should try something new, but still listen to Gizmo Hall, I mean, I like this song." I'm a big fan of Bossa too so when I saw you had a Bossa song, I was excited.

About the song, it didn't get a perfect score from me for two reasons. I felt this piece moved a bit too fast, I would have liked it to be a little slower. I'm also not a huge fan of the clarinet.

This song was great however, it creates a great atmosphere, the Clarinet was flawless and it was a great tribute to the original song. A great song by my favorite jazz artist on Newgrounds.
